In 2014 Julio Bocca, director of Uruguay's Ballet Nacional Sodre (BNS), approached Juan Campodónico with the idea of making original music celebrating BNS' 80 years.

On August 13, 2015, the Ballet Nacional Sodre premiered the play 'Nocturno' with music composed by Campodónico and choreography by Martin Inthamoussú.
